About the Samuntà Trail Race

This race is included in the UTMB Index circuit, therefore, if you finish the 23km distance, you will get your score.

DISTANCES AND ROUTES
13km +370m
Come and enjoy the Samuntà Trail Race 13K: a 13 km route with 370 m of positive elevation gain that will take you to discover the most authentic Penedès. Run between vineyards and forests, climb the hills of Sant Martí Sarroca and let yourself be surprised by the corners and landscapes that surround you.

REGULATION
Samuntà Trail Race 2026 is a spectacular trail running and walking event through the protected natural area of Montmell-Marmellar. Based in the Barri de la Bleda (Sant Martí Sarroca, Alt Penedès), it offers three modalities for all levels and is part of the GRAN PENEDÈS League , ITRA National League and UTMB Index . Exclusive online registrations at samuntatrailrace.cat, with maps and GPX tracks available.
📅 Dates and Times
The adventure will take place on Sunday, May 17, 2026, with the start and finish in the Barri de la Bleda neighborhood.
• Long Race: departure 8:00 a.m.
• Short Race and Walk: departure 8:30 a.m. Collection of bibs and runner's bag: Saturday, May 16 or day of the race from 7:00 a.m. (with ID and authorization for minors ).
🗺️ Modalities and Routes
Signposted routes with mandatory checkpoints (without cut-off points).
Refreshments: 3 + end (Long); 2 + end (Short/Walk).
Mandatory material : reusable glass (≥150 ml), thermal blanket.
Recommended : charged mobile phone, suitable clothing and walking sticks.
💰 Registrations and Prices
Online registrations until the limit of places or May 3, 2026 (no changes thereafter).
• Long Race: €22 (first 50), €24 (until 31/03), €26 (from 01/04).
• Short Race: €18 (first 50), €20 (until 31/03), €22 (from 01/04).
• Walk: €18.
Ages: ≥2010 (Long), ≥2012 (Short/Walk). Non-federated: +5€ temporary license. Minors: signed authorization.
